Biofair Organic Red Quinoa is high in fibre and provides a source of protein. A delicious and versatile Low FODMAP grain (with a generous Monash green serve of 155g cooked), quinoa is perfect to pair with savoury dishes or for use as a salad base.
To cook it, take one part quinoa grain, rinse it well, and cook with two parts water. (So for example for 100g quinoa use 200ml water.) Bring it to the boil and simmer for approximately 10 minutes with the lid on. Remove it from the heat and leave it covered until all the liquid is absorbed.
